सीरीयल की पूरी कास्ट काफी शानदार चुनी गई थी। ये सीरीयल भारत में प्रचलित बाल विवाह जैसी रूढ़िवादी प्रथा पर प्रहार करता था। इस सीरीयल में तीन पीढ़ियों को दिखाया गया था। पहली पीढ़ी में दो मासूम बच्चों की बाल विवाह जैसी कूप्रथा के चलते शादी कर दी जाती है। वो दो बच्चे आनंदी और जगिया होते हैं।

अविका गौर को बचपन से ही एक्टिंग करना पसंद था इस लिए वह बचपन से ही एक्टिंग की दुनिया में काम करने लगी। कलर्स के बालिका वधू धारावाहिक को करने के बाद अविका गौर ने मशहूर सीरीयल 'ससुराल सिमर का' में रोली का किरदार 2017 तक निभाया था। 

2017 के बाद से अविका गौर को किसी बड़े मंच पर नहीं देखा गया। न ही उन्होंने कोई बड़ा सीरीयल किया। मासूम सी दिखने वाली आनंदी अपनी बढ़ती उम्र के साथ काफी खूबसूरत होती जा रही है। वह अपनी तस्वीरें सोशल मीडिया पर पोस्ट करती रहती है।
