प्रिंस हैरी की पत्नी मेगन मर्केल बनीं ब्रिटिश मैगजीन Vogue की अतिथि संपादक

लंदन। प्रिंस हैरी की पत्नी मेगन मर्केल प्रतिष्ठित फैशन पत्रिका ‘ब्रिटिश वोग’ के सितंबर अंक में मेहमान संपादक की भूमिका में नजर आयेंगी। पत्रिका के इस अंक में मेगन अमेरिका की पूर्व प्रथम महिला मिशेल ओबामा के साथ ‘‘साक्षात्कार’’ करती नजर आयेंगी। शाही परिवार की ओर से जारी विज्ञप्ति के अनुसार पत्रिका के सितंबर अंक का शीर्षक है ‘‘फोर्सेस फॉर चेंज’’ और इसमें दुनिया की जानी मानी वानर प्रजाति पर शोध करने वाली विशेषज्ञ जेन गुडॉल समेत उन 15 महिलाओं पर फीचर होगा, जिन्होंने ‘‘अपने साहसिक कारनामों से बाधाएं तोड़ीं’’।

A sneak peek of the #ForcesForChange video for the September Issue of @BritishVogue. Her Royal Highness, The Duchess of Sussex is the first Guest Editor for British Vogue’s September Issue and for the last seven months has worked to create an issue of inclusivity and inspiration, focusing on what connects us rather than what divides us. Fifteen women were chosen for the cover including New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, who generously lent her time to support The Duchess in this important issue. The women first met last autumn during Their Royal Highness’ official tour of New Zealand. Above, PM Ardern says: “One change that I’ve noticed over the course of my career, is just how polarised the world is now. I do think there is a solution to that though, and that’s ultimately us coming back to the humanity that we all share." Thank you PM Ardern for being an amazing force for change. आधिकारिक रूप से ‘डचेज ऑफ ससेक्स’ के नाम से मशहूर मेगन ने कहा, ‘‘बीते सात महीने मेरे लिये बेहद शानदार रहे...। यह साल का सबसे अधिक पठनीय फैशन अंक है, जो मूल्यों, विषय आधारित तथा दुनिया में प्रभाव छोड़ने वाली शख्सियतों पर केंद्रित है।’’ पत्रिका के इस अंक में जिन अन्य महिलाओं को शामिल किया गया है उनमें न्यूजीलैंड की प्रधानमंत्री जेसिंडा अर्डर्न और अभिनेत्री/प्रचारक जेन फोंडा, सलमा हायक, पिनॉल्ट के अलावा युवा जलवायु प्रचारक ग्रेटा थनबर्ग के नाम शामिल हैं। ‘ब्रिटिश वोग’ का यह अंक दो अगस्त से उपलब्ध होगा।
